I just read the current issue of the Polygraph Place news letter. I saw where Ralph was questioned about his auction site and the sale of polygraph equipment to evil people who should not have the stuff!

There seems to be a lot of interest in that right now. I guess the Feds have got a new reason to justify what they do all day!?

My message to them is "Wake up and smell the decade!"

Turn on CNN right now and you will see that a polygraph instrument is being used every day to blow up buildings and hijack airplanes-NOT!

The truth is, the sale of polygraph instruments to "hostile" countries is going on unchecked as we speak.

Just go to EBay and search for "polygraph". You will see multiple listings for used analong and computerized instruments. Then click on the bidders and then click on their feedback. You will see that most of them have little or no feedback and speak in a language that you won't understand. HELLO???? Does it get more obvious than that???

It would take no more than a phone call to EBay Security to correct the situation but apparently the FEDs have not learned yet that EBay exists.

But wait-there's more!

Just go to Antipolygraph.org and you will find everything you have ever wanted to know about the Federal polygraph program. All of DoPI's "secret stuff" is available to anyone, in any country, at the click of a mouse. Talk about having your pants down and your butt swingin' in the breeze.....

Have they corrected this yet? No.

If the Feds are serious about fixing this threat to our national security, perhaps they should start in their own back yard! If you are an agent charged with correcting the problem, and are reading this post, scroll down to find a clue.

Don't get me wrong....I am not an anti-Fed guy. I just think if the Feds are going to "clean house" then they should start with their own.

If I was a Fed (and I am kind of glad that I am not) I would be much more concerned about the export of that CVSA junk.

Since Polygraph requires at least a seemingly cooperative subject and CVSA touts the passive use of their CRAP; which would be a greater danger to our agents abroad? (Rhetorical question)

I would hate to think of an asset undergoing torture based on the results of a voice stress test. Considering the past behavior of those CVSA people (meant generically) (is that a word?), I don't have any doubt in my mind that they would sell it to anyone who could collect enough pop bottles to pay for one.

but then, that's just one man's opinion

This comes a bit late, but I would just add that the U.S. no longer holds a monopoly on polygraph instruments. They're now being made in Canada and China. The idea that we can control who has polygraphs and who doesn't is OBE.

It's a thankless job, but somebody's gotta do it.
